WINTER SKIN: THE BODY SHOP BB CREAM

12/08/2014

Not too long until Christmas now, I really can't wait. I love Christmas time with all the festive cheer! But the thing I hate about winter is the weather, it's too cold and it really affects my skin. With this in mind I went into town looking for a suitable product for my skin, which has been chapped by the cold. I ended up in The Body Shop because they have a really great reputation for skincare and stumbled upon this BB Cream. I have seen it reviewed before anyway but trying it was successful and they had a 40% sale on so I got it for about £7 which was a bargain and not too much money to invest if it wasnt any good.

It is safe to say I ADORE this BB Cream! I seriously believe it would work for any skin type. Here are some quick stats for this product:
Coverage: medium. Finish: slightly dewy. Best feature: moisturising. Amount: 25ml

The cream is a dreamy consistency. It spreads really well which is great for saving product. The picture of the cream is about how much I use for my whole face which isn't actually much. Despite appearances it is coloured-the small dots you can see in the picture are tiny balls of colour which mix in with the moisturiser to give great colour and a moisturised glow. This product has been great so far in banishing my dryness. I also get a few spots but it has made them appear less red, although on the bigger spots I do think concealer is necessary.
On the photo of me above I am wearing the BB cream with a small amount of blusher and about 3 dots of concealer because my spots are pretty bad at the moment.
For people with really oily skin I would recommend powdering your face because the consistency is a bit dewy but for combination skin like mine, it is personal preference. I prefer without.

This cream is great for banishing redness, and it lasts about 8 hours on my face which is better than any BB product I have tried! It really is an Al l In One solution-minus the high coverage of foundation.

If there is anything more you would like to know about my experience of the Body Shop BB cream feel free to send me an email, or alternatively you can comment below.
Have you tried this product? What is your BB Cream of choice?
