Face mask Review: No7 Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask for Dry Skin.

5/30/2015

Hello,

How is everyone? As you can tell by the title, I have a review for you. I am guilty of using those Montagne Jeunesse mask sachets even though they make my skin red and blotchy when they peel off. (I think its just my skin being sensitive) So, as you can imagine I was looking to broaden my horizons.

An amazingly talented makeup artist put this mask on me a few years ago but I had no idea what she was using at the time. I was looking back on my Facebook messages, having a clear out and saw that I messaged her asked what this amazing product which made my skin so soft was, I was convinced it was some really expensive serum or something that was out of my skincare price range. But it was this! I finally got around to buying this at only £11 for 100ml. it was a steal, especially as not much needs to be used at a time.

When applying this mask it seems a bit of a greasy formula, but don't worry it leaves no grease. I have acne-prone skin and it has really improved the quality of my skin. Its not branded as good for acne, but it really is. I think it is because it reduces my pores whilst moisturising them.

I use this everyday, once a day, usually I only keep it on for two minutes, but sometimes when my skin is really dry I keep it on for ten minutes. It is a soft, moisturising formula so hypothetically if I kept it on my skin all day there would be no irritation on my skin which is perfect.

My skin has really felt soft and normal since using this, plus it has stopped it from getting greasy even though it is a moisturising formula for dry skin.

I feel skeptical sometimes about buying from brands such as No7 which are basically shop own-brands because their advertising can seem one sided, but this product has really changed my mind and I must let go of my snobbery and shop in the No7 section in Boots much more often.

Overall it is acne approved, has changed my skin for the better, I will be repurchasing but I shouldn't need to for ages because a little goes a long way.

I would love to know which masks you swear by? Would you say price is more important or quality in such a product?

Emma xx

Ps. On the photo it doesn't look like there is much in the bottle, that is just because I have used quite a bit already. I wanted to be sure I liked it before reviewing it. Honesty is the best policy after all :)
